HERONCLAN
A ragged creature stumbled through the dense pine forest, it's bones visible through it's mangy unkempt pelt. It's eyes were dull as it looked wildly around for any trace of food. Nothing. It wandered until the faint crashed of water against rocks could be heard. The cat stumbled as quickly as it could over to the rushing torrent, it's thoughts immediately shooting to the image of a freshly killed trout. It settled by the river, a paw raised, ready to strike an unsuspecting fish. Though, a loud growl could be heard from the ferns. The cat swung around, it's fur spiking. A mahogany tom stepped out, his pelt gleaming in the weak sunlight. Behind him, 3 other cats fanned out. One, a hazel tabby she-cat with a long well groomed pelt, another, a white and grey she-cat with a piercing amber gaze, and the third, a younger grayish she-cat with dark grey marks , and they all smelled of fish and reptiles. The young she-cat gasped,
" Great Starclan, is he/she dying?! "
The hazel tabby hissed back to her,
"No, Hazelbird. he/she is a hungry loner, now hush."
The younger she-cat snapped her jaws shut and turned to the mangy creature. The white and gray cat snarled.
"Why are you here? You had better have a good reason, or I have every right to claw your ears off!"
The mahogany tom snapped something out of earshot to the other cats, and the nod, silencing. The starving cat then responds to the white and gray cat's question,
"Im on the brink of starvation, and I need rest and shelter... and food.."
The mahogany tom nods, turning to his companions. The she cat whom had snarled at you muttered something to the tom. He shakes his head, and the tabby murmurs something. The young warrior mewed, and the rest of the cats nodded. The tom then turns back to the intruder and meows,
"Follow us if you're smart, we can offer you everything you need."
The 4 cats turn, springing into the undergrowth. The cat follows as quickly as it can, gasping for air as they finally stop at their destination. The tom lifts his tail, signaling for the cats to duck under the dense wall of thorns and reeds. It emerges, and a wave of fish scent hits the creature, almost making it gag. The tom yowls,
"Falconstar! We have a visitor! Bring Pinestar, Skystar, and Oliver!!"
The feline almost laughs as a tiny she-cat slips out of a cave. She trots over to the others, holding a plump carp in her jaws. She sets it down, and 2 of the 3 she-cats who had accompanied the mahogany tom trotted away to other cats, who had been staring at the skinny cat. Replacing them were 3 other cats, a slender gray and white she-cat, a muscular gray she-cat, and a long furred black muscular tom. The 6 cats form a circle around the cat, and the smallest tabby drops the carp at it's paws.
"I see you're starving. eat, and then we will introduce ourselves."
The hungry cat looked up surprised that the apprentice sized she-cat showed such authority. The cat turned to the plump carp, scarfing it down in a few famished bites. The cats chuckle, and then the small tabby meows.
"I am Falconstar, leader of Heronclan, Pinestar, the slender gray she-cat, and Skystar, the big gray she-cat, are also leaders. Niku, the tom who escorted you here, is my deputy. Willowcloud, the hazel tabby she-cat who also escorted you here, is Pinestar's deputy. And Oliver, the black tom, is Skystar's deputy. Clear? I have heard that you need food, shelter and rest. Well look no more. You have found it."

Heronclan cats usually are overprotective of their clan, and they are very quick and quiet. Most Heronclan cats are tabbies, but we have lots of other pelt colors too. |
LEADER
Leaders should be respected by all of the clan. Their orders should not be questioned. The leader's duty is to protect their clan at all costs.
DEPUTY
The deputy should also be respected by all of the clan. The deputy sets up hunting and border patrols, and sometimes battle patrols if the leader is ill. Once the leader has lost his/her 9th life or stepped down, the deputy will take his/her place.
MEDICINE CAT
Medicine cats are the healers of the clan. They collect herbs and are trusted to heal the wounded and sick cats of the clan. They will train Medicine cat apprentices to succeed them when they die or step down. They should be respected by every cat in the clan.
MEDICINE CAT APPRENTICE
Medicine cat apprentices are medicine cats in training. They will help the their mentor collect herbs and heal sick and injured cats. They will learn all they need to know about healing and herbs before they become a full medicine cat. Once their mentor feels they have reached that point, Falconstar will make them a full medicine cat.
SENIOR WARRIORS
Senior warriors should be respected by lower ranks. To become a senior warrior, you must have lots of knowledge of vocab,and mentored 1 apprentices before being eligible. Senior warriors mostly lead hunting/border patrols, but hunt and battle the same as warriors. Senior warriors are also a first pick for deputy.
WARRIORS
Warriors are the heart of the clan. They hunt and protect for the clan. Kits and apprentices should listen to warriors, and respect them.
QUEENS
Queens are the care takers of kits, the youngest and most vulnerable in the clan.They nurse kits until they reach 6 moons old, and then return to the warriors den if they prefer. One or two are allowed to stay permanently in the nursery. Queens should be given fresh kill every day by an apprentice or young warrior.
APPRENTICES
Apprentices are training warriors. They should respect all older than them, and they shall care for nursing/expecting queen and clear out their bedding as well as care for the elders. They will train every day with their mentors to become a warrior.
ELDERS
Elders are the oldest in the clan and should be listened to and respected. They are wise and give good advice, and should be cared for by the apprentices and young warriors.
KITS
Kits are the youngest and most vulnerable in the clan. They should be protected and nursed by the queens. Any kit found in distress should be rescued without question. Once a kit has reached 6 moons they will be made an apprentice. Before then they should stay in the camp.

1) You must be on at least 3 hours a week.. If only 1-3 hours( without a reason ) you get two warnings before being kicked out.. If you do not meet at least 1 hour in a week you will be kicked from the clan... I love to have active players so I can have a nice active clan instead of having only two clan members on while I am on..
2) Every rank that you rise to you must show and example appropriate for that rank and I must approve.. If I do not approve of your example you have one last try before I sadly must kick you out... I need examples for : Kit, Apprentice, Warrior, Sr. Warrior, Queen, Elder, Deputy, Medicine Cat, and Leader.
3) You must have correct grammar... Yes, I know AJ sometimes doesn't let us type certain words.. But please spell out the words you type, no saying 'u' for 'you' and 'srsly' for 'seriously' and you get the point.. You have three warnings on your grammar before you will be kicked out.
4) It's Ok to leave the clan... If you are going to leave the clan please tell me.. If you do wish to come back you may come back to the clan but only one last time.. If you do come back you must have a different OC and must start out as a Kit or Apprentice.
5) YOU MUST FIT THE DRESS CODE!! If you need help making an outfit for your OC that is in dress code you may come to me, Falconstar, for help with that, please don't be afraid to ask! If you are found out of dress code you have 1 warning before being kicked out of the clan..
6) Please use Teal Tags and Mira Icon.. It is Ok to change your tag out of the clan but in clan use the correct color tag and symbol.. (You get one warning before being kicked out)
7) NO DOUBLE CLANNING NOR POWER PLAYING!!!! If I or a deputy catch you double clanning you will be automatically kicked from the clan and not welcome back... I only like loyal cats! And every-cat hates power playing so please do not power play it ruins the fun.. You will have one warning before you are kicked out of the clan.
8) Come to the clan prepared! Have your correct animal and be in dress code and ready to rp! I hate having to wait for people getting their animal together so you will have one warning before being kicked from Heronclan.
9) Please keep the drama to a minimum. I do not like too much drama in the clan, it gets annoying keep it to a minimum you will get two warnings before you are kicked from the clan.
10) Your OC must die! Do you know a cat who lives forever in warriors, because I don't so your cat must die sometime and you can come back to life as a new OC but make sure you at least live past kit hood.
11) This is now a very serious clan, please do not goof around in the clan you will have one warning and then you are kicked.
12) Just because I'm serious doesn't mean no fun! Make sure you're having fun because it's not fun if everyone isn't having fun. If you have any problems with a member of the clan please come to me.
13) Please respect higher ranking cats, they worked their way up to that, and deserve the respect they earned. If you are found disrespecting them, you will get 3 warnings and punishments before being kicked out.
